The Book of Psalms

Psal:130:1: A Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

Psal:130:2: Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

Psal:130:3: If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

Psal:130:4: But [there is] forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

Psal:130:5: I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

Psal:130:6: My soul [waiteth] for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: [I say, more than] they that watch for the morning.

Psal:130:7: Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD [there is] mercy, and with him [is] plenteous redemption.

Psal:130:8: And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.


The Book of Psalms

Psal:131:1: A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

Psal:131:2: Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul [is] even as a weaned child.

Psal:131:3: Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.

Psal:132:1: A Song of degrees. LORD, remember David, [and] all his afflictions:

Psal:132:2: How he sware unto the LORD, [and] vowed unto the mighty [God] of Jacob;

Psal:132:3: Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

Psal:132:4: I will not give sleep to mine eyes, [or] slumber to mine eyelids,

Psal:132:5: Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty [God] of Jacob.

Psal:132:6: Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.

Psal:132:7: We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.

Psal:132:8: Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.

Psal:132:9: Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.

Psal:132:10: For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.

Psal:132:11: The LORD hath sworn [in] truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

Psal:132:12: If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

Psal:132:13: For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired [it] for his habitation.

Psal:132:14: This [is] my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

Psal:132:15: I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

Psal:132:16: I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

Psal:132:17: There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.

Psal:132:18: His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
